HAUSSEGEN, 2013

Largely evolving out of a conceptual approach Leitna's graphic works evoke evanescence, and a process of perception relating to a medium flood of mediarelated images. Scenes extracted both from the daily media and a personal archive of images form sources and starting points for him.

Mixing and abstracting of the collective and the individual memory find a foremost place in the aesthetic and technical requirements of graphic art. The complexity and materiality of glass – in regard to its transparency and Density – give a new formal platform to the starting points of my work.
