The glass screen element was designed to be a complex System working with opposite concepts of openness/confidentiality, visibility/invisibility, and exposure/concealment, thus being an element of both inner and outer space, neutralizing boundaries as well as Fixing them, giving privacy albeit ist transparency.
It is playing with different surfaces. Depending on the light, it will sometimes be translucent and therefore “dying” the background, or mirroring front or rear side more or less, or even amalgamating both plains. The surface, transparent during the day, will be a mirror at night, without light, creating always new approaches.
Following daily or nightly atmosphere and the effect of different sources of light, the paravent will be a permanently changing spatial element in its surrounding, creating fragmented spaces, being background for the viewer andechoing his own movement.
